13-year-old girl found safe after reported missing in Boyle Heights

BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 13-year-old girl was found safe after she was reported missing from the Boyle Heights area.

Evelyn Morales showed up at school Wednesday morning, according to Los Angeles school police.

Before then, she had not been seen since 8 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of N. Chicago Street.

Evelyn's family members said she was depressed and possibly suicidal.
