Man found shot dead along San Gabriel Riverbed

LAKEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation was underway after a man was found shot to death on a trail along the San Gabriel Riverbed near the Long Beach-Lakewood border Saturday morning, authorities said.

A husband and wife walking the nature trail found the man's body north of Carson Street in Lakewood, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's homicide detectives.

No other details were immediately available.
