SAN DIEGO (KABC) -- A 14-year-old Corona girl who was reported missing several days ago was rescued in the San Diego area.
According to ABC San Diego affiliate KGTV, the girl called 911 for help around midnight from a cellphone. Investigators used GPS to track down her location.
When officers arrived near the area, they saw the girl banging on an apartment window and crying.
The dramatic rescue was caught on film. Authorities also found a man who had locked himself inside his garage. Officers took the man away in handcuffs.
The San Diego police sex crime unit is investigating if a crime took place. Police told KGTV that the girl's mother reported her as a runaway two days ago. The girl is now with her mother in San Diego.
Investigators are looking at a possible Internet connection between the girl and the man.
