ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) -- It was a terrifying moment as a man attempted to rob an Ontario bank claiming he had a bomb.
Witnesses inside the bank at the time were able to record some of the chaos as they took cover on the floor.
Ontario police said the man entered the Wells Fargo bank located at 2500 S. Grove Ave. at about 12:30 p.m.
Officials said the man ordered everyone out and claimed to have a bomb.
Witnesses told ABC7 the employees didn't give the man any money, and he left claiming he was going to bomb the bank.
Police said the man was armed with a handgun and wearing a gray hoodie, dark clothing and a mask.
No one was injured during the attempted robbery.
