WESTWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A student has been arrested after three young girls were inappropriately touched at UCLA's Drake Stadium last week, according to university police.

The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Max Diaz, was taken into custody on Tuesday and is facing a lewd act charge, UCLA police said. He is a fourth-year Chicano studies student at the university.

The girls, between the ages of 8 and 12, were sitting near a man at a soccer game on Friday when he inappropriately touched them, police said. The suspect fled the area when he was confronted by event staff.

The girls are not affiliated with UCLA.
