VIDEO: LAX flights affected by Chicago ground stop

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Airlines scrambled to get back on track following a fire at an air traffic control facility in Illinois Friday morning.

The incident caused a ground stop at Chicago airports. The ripple effect canceled many flights to and from the Los Angeles area.
