Water business owner bound, beaten and gagged in Llano
Sheriff's deputies are searching for a suspect who allegedly bound, beat and gagged a water business owner at his home and company in the Llano area of Los Angeles County.

LLANO, Calif. (KABC) -- Sheriff's deputies are searching for a suspect who allegedly bound, beat and gagged a water business owner at his home and company in the Llano area of Los Angeles County.



The assault took place in the 26300 block of East Avenue W-8, according to the Palmdale Sheriff's Station.



An employee arriving for work at the company, which provides water to construction companies, found the owner suffering from serious injuries at about 11:30 a.m.



The victim, identified by family members as 63-year-old Glen Brittner, was flown to Antelope Valley Hospital in critical condition. He was unresponsive and unable to tell deputies what happened to him.



His family said he suffered significant injuries but is now in stable condition following surgery. The motive remains unknown, but Brittner's family suspects he was assaulted during a robbery.
