ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- A man shot his estranged wife to death at Peralta Canyon Park in Anaheim Thursday afternoon, according to police.
Anaheim police said the woman was shot by 49-year-old Humberto Servin inside a car at about 2:35 p.m. in the park located near the 91 Freeway and East Santa Ana Canyon Road.
Authorities stated the woman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead.

Servin and the victim were married, but estranged, according to police. The motive behind the shooting was still under investigation.
The Orange Unified School District said Crescent Elementary School and Canyon High School, which are near the park, were on lockdown due to the shooting.
District officials said the lockdown was lifted after about 20 minutes.
Police said they were working with the district to ensure any students who witnessed the incident would receive counseling if needed.
The park was closed while officers investigated the shooting scene.
