NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Flames ripped through the roof of a food supply business in North Hollywood Friday night, Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.
The blaze broke out at Hy-Grade Food Supply in the 7400 block of North Fulton Avenue shortly after 7:30 p.m.
A total of 118 firefighters responded to the scene, and were driven back by the intense fire as they tried to enter. They aggressively attacked the fire from the outside, confining the flames to the 75-by-75-foot industrial building.
The fire was knocked down in less than an hour. One firefighter was medically evaluated at the scene, but did not require treatment.
No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
