PALMDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies are searching for four suspects following a violent home-invasion robbery in Palmdale that left three victims injured.

The armed robbery was reported in the 38200 block of Meadow Lane around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The victims told sheriff's deputies that three suspects knocked on the front door of the residence, at which point a female guest opened the door.

The first suspect struck her in the face with a handgun and two suspects then rushed in and ordered the occupants of the home to get on the floor.

A male victim inside the home had difficulty getting off the couch due to a medical condition, prompting the first suspect to pistol whip him with a revolver.

A fifth victim walked into the living room from a nearby bedroom and was immediately struck by the first suspect on the side of his head and face with the weapon before being ordered to the floor.

The three suspects allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of money, a laptop computer, a gold chain, alcoholic beverage bottles, and miscellaneous clothing and shoes. The three suspects ran out of the residence and jumped in a newer-model purple or blue-colored SUV, which was driven by a fourth unknown suspect.

Two of the three victims were transported to a local hospital in fair condition. The third victim suffered minor injuries and refused treatment.

Palmdale residents told Eyewitness News this is the second home-invasion robbery in the area in the past two weeks. The first one occurred last Tuesday around 10 p.m., neighbors said.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on this home-invasion robbery was asked to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Palmdale Station at (661) 272-2400.
