Pet of the Week: 8-year-old German shepherd named Millie

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Our ABC7 Pet of the Week on Thursday, July 21, is Millie, an 8-year-old German shepherd. Please give her a good home!

Millie is a smart girl who knows her basic commands. She loves people but isn't used to being around other dogs, so she will be better as the only pet in a home.

She's a happy, playful girl, always ready to fetch a tennis ball. But what she really needs is a nice comfy bed, limited exercise and lots of love. She's also lost some weight recently, to 94 pounds, down from 111.

She'll make a great companion for the couch potatoes out there.
