Vehicle crashes into Pasadena restaurant patio

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- A vehicle crashed into the patio area of Plate 38, a restaurant in Pasadena, Thursday night.

The vehicle struck at the corner of Colorado and Sierra Madre in East Pasadena at about 7:30 p.m.

Three people were hospitalized; two had minor injuries and one had significant injuries. Two of those hospitalized are children.

Two vehicles appeared to be involved in the collision, both of which were towed from the scene.
