SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- Two female suspects were arrested at the end of a stolen-vehicle police chase in Santa Ana Friday evening.



Santa Ana police officers began pursuing a stolen white Honda Civic in Orange at about 4:30 p.m. Friday.



Two suspects were in the vehicle, which was traveling at high rates of speed on surface streets. Police said a person in the car called police dispatch.



The chase began in a traffic circle in Orange, then proceeded through Santa Ana. The car was reportedly stolen in Garden Grove.



At 5:10 p.m., the stolen car stopped in the area of 1001 E. Hunter Avenue and two suspects ran. A police dog tackled the suspect driver.



Two suspects, both female, were taken into custody.



The driver was identified as 20-year-old Kimberly Camacho. She was treated for a dog bite. Camacho faces charges of grand theft auto; possession of stolen property; felony evading; driving on a suspended/revoked license; and outstanding warrants for possession of narcotics.



Information on the second suspect was not immediately released.
