
HAWTHORNE, Calif. (KABC) -- One person was killed in a crash reportedly involving a wrong-way driver on the 405 Freeway in Hawthorne Tuesday morning.
The incident happened on northbound lanes shortly before 1 a.m. at Rosecrans Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol's traffic log.
Additional details about the collision or the deceased individual were not available, but the CHP says at least one other person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
At one point, all northbound lanes of the freeway were shut down. It fully reopened by 5 a.m.
