A 3.4-magnitude earthquake rattled the Ontario area Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) -- A 3.4-magnitude earthquake rattled the Ontario area Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake hit around 5:37 a.m. at a depth of nearly 4 miles.

No damages or injuries were immediately reported.

Eyewitness News received calls from people in the Fontana and Chino areas who said they were woken up by the shaking.
