
WINNETKA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 12-year-old boy with autism was hit and killed early Monday morning while walking in Winnetka, according to police.
It happened around 2:45 a.m. near Saticoy Street and Winnetka Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division, the boy, who was not immediately identified, left his home and was walking alone when he was struck.
A driver, described only as a woman in her 20s, was arrested for DUI, police said.
AIR7 was above the scene Monday morning and captured a four-door sedan with visible damage. No other details were immediately released.
