22-year-old dies after falling over Nevada Fall in Yosemite National Park, officials confirm

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. -- A 22-year-old man died after officials say he fell over Nevada Fall in Yosemite National Park.

The incident happened on Saturday, June 20.

The National Park Service says crews responded and searched for the man below the waterfall.

The body of Josue Baires Alfaro was found on Sunday, June 21.

No other information has been provided.

Officials are still investigating the incident.
