Preliminary 3.6-magnitude earthquake rattles Riverside County, USGS says

BANNING, Calif. (KABC) -- A preliminary 3.6-magnitude earthquake rattled Riverside County Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck near Banning shortly before 11 a.m. at a depth of nearly nine miles.

No damage or injuries were immediately reported.
