LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KABC) -- South LA Pride returns on Saturday, August 9, bringing together queer and trans communities of color for a full free day of live music, movement, celebration, and unapologetic pride.

South LA Pride aims to create a community-centered celebration, feeling more like a neighborhood picnic than a traditional festival. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic setups to spread out across the park and enjoy the day in comfort. A diverse selection of food trucks will also be on-site offering some delicious options.

The 2025 main stage lineup features a powerful mix of emerging and established talent that reflects the diversity and creativity of South LA's LGBTQ+ community. You can find the setlist here.

The event also features programming that centers joy, wellness, and community competition with events like softball, flag football and an all-day Kid's Zone.

South LA Pride is proudly organized by members of South Los Angeles' LGBTQ+ community, ensuring that every element of the event reflects the lived experiences, culture, and spirit of the people it represents.

South LA Pride will be held at the Michelle and Barack Obama Sports Complex at 5001 Obama Blvd. The event will run from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with doors opening early for neosoul yoga at 11:00 a.m.
