Air Canada flight from LAX veers off taxiway, onto grass, video shows

An Air Canada flight from LAX ended up in the grass at the Montreal-Trudeau International Airport and the tense moments were caught on video.

The plane landed roughly on the runway and then veered off the taxiway.

Passengers say they came out of that flight extremely shaken up from the bumpy landing.

The runway was temporarily closed while more than 160 passengers and crew on board were evacuated.

It's not clear if weather or equipment played a role, but it was heavily raining at the time. The plane will be towed for inspection.
