Amber Alert issued for 4-year-old girl last seen near LA's Crenshaw District

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An Amber Alert was issued Monday evening for a 4-year-old girl who was last seen near the Crenshaw District in Los Angeles with a 40-year-old man.

Daleza Fregoso was abducted by Ruben Fregoso, according to the California Highway Patrol. The relationship between the child and the suspect was not immediately known.

They were last seen Sunday, May 24, at approximately 4 a.m. near Alsace Avenue and Ferndale Street in Los Angeles.

Ruben is believed to be driving a white 2019 Land Rover Discovery with California license plate 9DAW715.

Daleza is described as 3 feet tall, weighing 45 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Ruben is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities urge anyone with information to call 911.
