Burbank Airport's new terminal now scheduled to open Oct. 13

BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) -- The opening of a new, larger terminal at Hollywood Burbank Airport has been scheduled for Oct. 13, according to an updated project timeline.

New renderings released for the project show what the completed terminal will look like.

The $1.3 billion project will feature 14 gates, 14 restaurants and a new parking structure. It also will relocate baggage claim carousels indoors.
