LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The contractor building the long-awaited Automated People Mover system at LAX has filed a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles.
The suit accuses airport officials of altering construction plans and hiding facts to blame the company for delays.
The $3.3 billion project missed its goal of opening before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Meanwhile, testing on the system continues with no set completion date.
In a statement, the airport says it remains focused on working with the contractor to finish the project as soon as possible.
