CANOGA PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Three people were taken to a hospital Saturday after a driver crashed into a barbershop in Canoga Park, authorities said.
The collision happened on Shoup Avenue just before 2 p.m., according to fire crews.
Responders said the driver crashed head-on into the front of the shop, injuring three people inside. Two of the injured were reported to be in serious condition.
"I saw the car come through the window, and honestly, I just couldn't believe it," said Allen Rey, who works at the barbershop. "It was like a moment where I just couldn't believe it was happening, and the lady ... she's an older lady. I guess it happens often. So she's an older lady. She just had her foot on the gas, and we're all just like coming together, trying to figure out."
Video from the scene showed shattered glass and damaged seating inside the business. Firefighters later removed the car from the building.
Authorities said it was not immediately clear what caused the driver to crash into the barber shop.
The incident remains under investigation.
