LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Heartbroken family members are calling for justice after a beloved mother and grandmother was killed in a hit-and-run crash in West Los Angeles.
Rima Manucharyan, 74, was loved deeply by her family.
"We expected to have her with us for another 20 years," said her granddaughter, Tatiana Vershinina.
Instead, they are grieving her sudden death.
Around 5 p.m. Friday, Manucharyan and her husband were in a marked crosswalk at Pico Boulevard and Fox Hills Drive. They were on their way to the park when she was struck and killed by a driver going westbound on Pico.
"When you look out at the street, you see her belongings - her hat, her socks, her everything. And no skid marks, nothing. As if she just flew on her own and she flew. I mean, this car was going fast."
Investigators said the driver of a 2011 to 2018 black Audi Q3 fled the scene.
Angel White, a resident in the area, was there when first responders arrived after the crash.
"If they can put flashing lights and just some acknowledgement that this is a pedestrian crosswalk... it's barely noticeable. All the cars drive so fast," White said.
Now, Manucharyan's family is pleading for the public's help and for the driver to come forward.
"I would be very disappointed if they don't find a camera that shows the license plate. At least apologize... I know we cannot bring my mom back," said the victim's daughter, Grace Vershinina.
Manucharyan grew up in Armenia then moved to Russia before settling in Los Angeles about a decade ago to be near her children and grandchildren.
"She was the kindest person. It hurts to talk about it. She loved life... she's an angel," her daughter said.
A GoFundMe page has been established to ensure she is properly laid to rest.
A reward of up to $50,000 is also being offered to anyone that provides information leading to the driver's identification and arrest.
