Two firefighters were hurt while battling a brush fire in the San Bernardino National Forest near Yucaipa, which prompted an evacuation warning.
The Green Fire started around 5:42 p.m. Monday and has burned about 33 acres. It ignited on a mountainside near the Thurman Flats Picnic Area along Highway 38, according to Cal Fire.
Multiple agencies responded to the fire, including Cal Fire and San Bernardino County firefighters.
During the firefight, two firefighters were injured by falling rocks as they were working on the containment line.
Video captured the moments crews carried their fellow injured firefighters onto ambulances. However, details on their conditions were not released.
An evacuation warning was issued for areas of Mountain Home Village. Officials urged people who may need extra time to evacuate to leave immediately, along with anyone who has pets or livestock.
Authorities established road closures between Bryant Street and Forest Falls as crews worked to contain the blaze.
