LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Police Department is ending its agreement with surveillance tech company Flock Safety, Eyewitness News has learned.
Flock operates dozens of cameras in Los Angeles that use automated license plate readers, according to the department.
The LAPD said there is language in the agreement over how the data is being used and collected, and that Flock has been asked to re-examine it.
The agreement is set to expire Saturday, and the LAPD will lose access to those cameras.
