LAPD officer hospitalized after crash in Exposition Park

EXPOSITION PARK, LOS ANGELES -- A Los Angeles police officer was injured in a crash in Exposition Park overnight.

The crash happened just before 12:45 a.m. at Exposition Boulevard and Western Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Video from the scene shows damage to the officer's patrol vehicle, as well as to a Mazda SUV. However, details about what led up to the collision were not available.

The officer was taken to the hospital in stable condition. It's unclear if the other driver suffered any injuries.

No arrests were made.
