Man on mini bike arrested after bizarre LA County chase

A man was taken into custody after leading police on a bizarre Southern California chase on a mini bike.

The chase started just after 11 p.m. Tuesday in Gardena. The man on the mini bike then led police onto the 110 Freeway, which prompted the California Highway Patrol to get involved.

It came to an end along southbound lanes near 190th Street.

It's unclear why police were pursuing the suspect to begin with.
