Medical mentorship program launched in East Los Angeles aims to reduce California physician shortage

EAST LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- AltaMed, in partnership with Charles Drew University, launched a youth mentorship program that aims to reduce the California physician shortage.

The six-week program, at AltaMed's East Los Angeles care center, was created to help prepare pre-med students to enter health professions.
