LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Susan G Komen "More Than Pink Walk" returns to Southern California this fall keeping community care at the forefront.

Survivor and Advisory Board Chair, Nichole Delansky, highlights a few important ways Komen supports Southern Californias, "Three things that come to mind for me are research, advocacy and community, but most importantly for this initiative it's community."

"We promote every October around breast cancer awareness month, walks across Orange County, Riverside County, LA County. For everyone to come feel like they have a place where they can belong, get access to resources and really just feel like they're not alone."

"It's a fundraising event but most importantly it's a local community event."

On, Sunday, September 27, 2026, the Komen More Than Pink Walk will take place in Newport Beach at Fashion Island in Orange County.

Exciting news for our participants in the Inland Empire this year, as the walk has moved to the ONT field, Sunday, October 18, 2026.

The Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk in LA is set for Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the LA State Historic Park. For details, visit www.komen.org.
