Overturned semi-truck lands on Metrolink tracks along 10 Fwy in Rosemead; several WB lanes closed

ROSEMEAD, Calif. (KABC) -- A semi-truck crashed and overturned onto train tracks that run along the 10 Freeway in Rosemead, forcing the closure of several westbound lanes Thursday morning.

The incident was reported around 3 a.m. at Del Mar Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

It's unclear what led up to the crash, but video from the scene shows the big rig completely overturned onto the Metrolink tracks.

The carpool and two left lanes were shut down as a result. The CHP said lane closures would be in effect for about four hours.
