Pregnant woman critically injured in Koreatown hit-and-run crash

KOREATOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A pregnant woman was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Koreatown area, leaving her in critical condition, police confirmed to Eyewitness News.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. Wednesday near Olympic Boulevard and St. Andrews Place, according to a police sergeant.

The woman, who is nine months pregnant, and at least one other person were crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when they were hit. The woman suffered a brain bleed.
