Search underway for missing LA County man with special needs

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A family is asking for the public's help in finding a 21-year-old man with special needs who was last seen in Los Angeles.

Davyon Demonte Valencia was last seen April 23 near East 126th and San Pedro streets, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

His family is concerned for his well-being. Authorities say Valencia might've been heading to the following destinations: the 12000 block of South Broadway and the 900 block of East El Segundo Boulevard.

He was wearing a black sweater and blue sweatpants. He is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighting 115 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact detectives.
