Semi-truck carrying large chunks of concrete overturns, shutting down 10 Fwy transition road

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A semi-truck carrying a load of large chunks of concrete overturned in downtown Los Angeles, forcing the closure of transition lanes between the westbound 10 Freeway and the southbound 110 Freeway.

The crash happened around 2:20 a.m. but details about what led up to the incident were not available.

Video from the scene showed large slabs of the concrete strewn across the roadway as crews worked to remove them.

The transition road was closed for several hours. All lanes were reopened by 8 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
