Shooting near taco truck in Oxnard leaves man in critical condition

OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) -- A man remains hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting broke out near a taco truck in Oxnard.

According to the Oxnard Police Department, officers responded to the 400 block of West Hueneme Road Saturday at around 9:50 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a 37-year-old man inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was sent to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.

It's unclear what prompted the shooting and information on a suspect or suspects wasn't immediately released.
