Military dad dressed as Santa Claus surprises 9-year-old daughter for Christmas

A 9-year-old girl in El Cajon received a Christmas and birthday surprise from Santa Claus this year that she'll never forget.

Video shows the moment Penelope realized that Santa was actually her dad, Alex Sandoval, who just returned from deployment in Guam. They were reunited Friday after being separated for almost a year.

The girl's mother and teacher helped set up the surprise.
