UPLAND, Calif. (KABC) -- Four people were arrested Monday after they were caught stealing from a store in Upland, police said.

The Upland Police Department said the incident happened around 8 p.m. at a retail store near the 210 Freeway and Campus Avenue.

Video shared by police shows the suspects running out of the store with several boxes of fragrance products. Another video shows them getting into a getaway car that had two children inside, according to police.

Police said officers were already in the area at the time and saw the vehicle speeding, heading westbound on the 210 Freeway.

"All in all, four adults from Los Angeles were arrested for felony commercial burglary, organized retail theft, conspiracy, and their ride impounded for a month," said police in a post on X.

Nearly $7,500 in merchandise was returned to the business, police said.
