Riverside's annual Festival of Lights illuminates SoCal

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- A holiday staple is back to illuminate Southern California and celebrate the season.

The Mission Inn's Festival of Lights kicked off with a fireworks show Friday afternoon, and crowds of families joined in on the holiday tradition.

More than 4.5 million lights lit up the city on the first day of the festival.

Musical entertainment, food and children's rides were just some of the attractions at the holiday event.
