SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- San Bernardino Valley College was closed on Tuesday after a bomb threat was called in a day earlier, clearing the campus during finals week.
School officials asked students and staff to leave the campus immediately at about 5:30 p.m. Monday after the threat was made.
Classes were canceled Tuesday as the San Bernardino Community College District Police Department continued to investigate the threat.
School officials said the campus will reopen on Wednesday, following the conclusion of their investigation.
Students were asked to check with the school for final exam scheduling changes.
About 12,000 students attend the community college, which is located near downtown San Bernardino.
