Fire erupts at auto repair shop in San Gabriel

SAN GABRIEL, Calif. (KABC) -- A fire erupted at an auto repair shop in the San Gabriel area Wednesday morning.

Firefighters battled the third-alarm fire at R & S Complete Auto Repair at Ralph Street and New Avenue just after 6 a.m.

Firefighters gained the upper hand on the flames within an hour and prevented the blaze from spreading to adjacent homes.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
