Woman's body found in Santa Fe Springs parking lot

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation was launched after a woman's body was found in a Santa Fe Springs parking lot early Tuesday morning.

Whittier police received a call around 1:10 a.m. about a body in a parking lot in the 13500 block of Rosecrans Avenue.

The woman's identity and the circumstances surrounding her death were not immediately known.

The parking lot is located near the loading docks of Weber Logistics.

The investigation was ongoing.
