Man fatally shot in Hollywood Hills, investigation underway

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 20-year-old man was fatally shot in the Hollywood Hills area Sunday night, Los Angeles police said.

The shooting happened at 8:40 p.m. on Camrose Drive and Sycamore Avenue, according to authorities from the LAPD Hollywood Division.

The unidentified man had a gunshot wound to the upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspect information was immediately available. It was unknown whether the shooting was gang related.
