CHINO, Calif. (KABC) -- "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
The classic animated tale, which first aired Oct. 27, 1966, features the Peanuts gang celebrating Halloween and Linus once again waiting for a The Great Pumpkin to appear.
Peanuts has developed custom-designed corn mazes around the country in honor of the anniversary, including one at Frosty's Forest in Chino which portrays Charlie Brown and Snoopy in a pumpkin patch.
"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" is scheduled to air on ABC7 Wednesday Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. following the presidential debate.
