More than $169K raised at OC autism walk
Thousands of people from all over Southern California took part in the 12th annual Orange County "Walk Now for Autism Speaks."

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- Thousands of people from all over Southern California took part in the 12th annual Orange County "Walk Now for Autism Speaks."

The event took place at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, and ABC7 anchor Phillip Palmer was the master of ceremonies.

Reporters Greg Lee, Eileen Frere and Rob McMillan were also there signing autographs. The walk raises money for autism research and featured a resource fair for people interested in learning more about the disorder.

For many, the event was about being there for their loved ones. The walk raised more than $169,000.
