LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Marijuana is about to become legal in California, but it won't be as simple as walking into just any store and dropping your money on the counter.
In fact, dispensaries in Los Angeles at first will still not be allowed to sell marijuana for recreational users - at least until the city can straighten out its licensing process.
In addition, there will still be limits on how young customers can be and how much they can purchase in a day.
Attorney Aaron Lachant with Los Angeles firm Nelson Hardiman, who specializes in working with marijuana businesses, sat down with Eyewitness News to detail how the new law will work.
