Bashizadah spotted the man at an In-N-Out Burger in Fremont, California, and watched as he was approached by others inquiring about the picture. Bashizadah believes the man is a regular at the restaurant.

"Automatically, I assumed she wasn't here with us and I started tearing up because it was such a beautiful moment but heartbreaking at the same time," said Bashizadah.

Apparently, the man's wife had passed away five years ago, after 55 years of marriage. They met when they were 17, but had been separated by World War II.

"He had searched for her for 10 years and one day as he was telling his barber the story, the barber calls his daughter in and it ends up being her," said Bashizadah. "They were married instantly and it lasted for 55 years until she passed."

The photo has been trending for a week, being retweeted over 8,000 times and favorited by almost 13,000 users. Bashizadah claims she never expected her post to go viral.

"It's amazing how love can touch so many people!," she said.
