DENVER -- Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts went on the injured list Monday with a broken left hand.

Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts told reporters Monday that it's likely to be a 6-8 week absence for Betts. However, that could change based on his progress over the next few weeks. On Sunday, in his postgame media availability, Roberts said Betts' injury would not require surgery.
