Dwight Howard to return to ASG dunk contest for first time since 2009

Dwight Howard will be part of the 2020 Slam Dunk Contest on All-Star Weekend.

The Los Angeles Lakers confirmed Howard's participation in a tweet Tuesday.

Howard hasn't competed in the contest since 2009. He won it the previous year while with the Magic.

This year's All-Star Game will take place Feb. 14-16 in Chicago.
