If this past Saturday was any indication, this week in baseball was going to be a notable one -- and it ended up being just that.

On Saturday, Marlins pitcher Edinson Volquez tossed a no-hitter against the Arizona Diamondbacks on what would have been the 26th birthday of his friend Yordano Ventura. A few hours later, Los Angeles Angels slugger Albert Pujols joined the 600-home run club in style with a grand slam off of Minnesota Twins ace Ervin Santana.

Cincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennetttied an MLB record with four homers, including a grand slam, and racked up 10 RBIs in a 13-1 blowout victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday. The next day, Baltimore Orioles outfielder Trey Mancinipinch-hit a home run to tie the game against the Pittsburgh Pirates and went on to bash a three-run walk-off dinger in the 11th inning.

Which of these accomplishments do you think was most impressive? Cast your vote below:

Next week sure has a lot to live up to.
